Where in the world did March go??

And now April is zipping by. I wanted to catch you up on my happenings around here lately.

First, I love four month olds!! They are too much fun. Zoe is laughing and loving anyone talking to her. She is just now fitting into 3 month clothes so that's been fun dressing her up. :o) And she's super glad her parents are Tarheels Fans!! She adores Ty Baby!! She kept droolin and talking to him during warm up before the game. She was not excited to find out that the game started after her bedtime but we DVR'd it for her to watch the next day. Here is her sportin baby tarheel wear!! Champions Baby!!!

I wanted to share some photos of some events that have happened in the past two weeks. For those of you who don't know I am a photographer who specializes in events! I love capturing moments. I don't have to create them just look for them and thanks to super fast shutter speeds I can freeze them for years to come.
So, here are some glimpses into the past few weeks.

My husband gave me roses for no reason at all! LOVE that!

Then I had the honor of capturing the Marine Fly in of a Brother in law of one of our grooms from last year! I sobbed while taking some of these. What a powerful day and moment. This was the first time Tony met his son! ughhhh… ripped my heartstrings out. I love this family. God really put them in my life as strangers and I must say they have become dear friends and have been a HUGE encouragement to my life.
Thanks Tony for serving us and fighting for our freedom!  Click here for full slideshow

Then I got to go up to UNC Children's hospital and visit another tiny miracle. My friend the Joyners had Shepherd last week and already he's had open heart surgery. He's struggling to breathe on his own but they are loving on him and giving him the best care and that includes knowing that the Great Physician is living within them and that His ways are higher and so much better than ours. But please pray that they will have endurance, joy and wisdom through this time up there. Check out their blog for more updates and how you can help further.
