with such joy, we present …
From the moment we heard about her (the week before thanksgiving) our hearts were supernaturally opened for this tiny little girl to come in and radically change our hearts and home forever. God opened wide the doors to the seemingly overwhelming adoption process, and gave us so many answered prayers in a very quick amount of time.
Her name means Abundant Life and we know that she will bring us an abundance of joy and opportunities for sanctification and faith as we learn what it means to raise our child in a home where Christ is the center.
Never in our wildest dreams would we have imagined that we would have a sweet newborn in our home for Christmas as we said goodbye to our firstborn son just four months ago today. In fact it was really hard to imagine anything during that time. But God has sustained us with grace, strength and joy in a time when those things seemed completely out of our grasp. God had taken from us what we held as our most valuable possession yet we found Him to still be good and faithful. I can't wait to tell Zoe when she's older how special her big brother was and how God loved us by giving us Asher for just a short time and the Amazing story of how He brought her to us! Isn't He good!!
He has truly shown us unmerited favor and such mercy as He literally placed this little one in our lap. She has stolen our hearts and has brought so many joy and happiness this past week. Please know that you are welcome to come see her and Rejoice with us in new birth and new life! Praise Him from whom all Blessings Flow!
And After you have suffered for a little while the God of all grace who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ will Himself Restore, Confirm, Strengthen and Establish you. 1 Peter 5:10
My Redeemer is Faithful and True.
